Frequently asked questions
What is removable wallpaper?
Removable wallpaper has a self-adhesive backing, so paste is not required. It can be used for a temporary update or kept in place long term, and it also works well on furniture, shelving, stair risers and other smooth surfaces.
Can wallpaper be installed in a bathroom?
Yes. It can be used in bathrooms with normal steam and indirect moisture. Keep it away from direct, repeated water contact and make sure the wall is dry, stable and properly prepared before installation.
Which surfaces are recommended?
For self-adhesive products, use smooth surfaces in good condition, ideally primed and painted with eggshell, satin or semi-gloss paint. Newly painted walls should cure fully for at least four weeks before installation.
How should I prepare the wall?
Remove dust and debris, then wipe the wall with an equal-parts mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol. Let the surface dry completely. Remove outlet covers and hardware before beginning.
How is peel-and-stick wallpaper removed?
Lift a corner and peel the material back slowly at a low angle. Work steadily across the panel instead of pulling straight away from the wall. A properly prepared compatible surface should remain clean after removal.
Should I order a sample first?
Yes. Screens can display color and texture differently, so a physical sample is the best way to check tone, scale, finish and surface compatibility before ordering rolls.
What should I check when ordering several rolls?
Order enough material for the full project at one time and confirm that all rolls share the same batch or lot number. This helps keep color and print consistency across the installation.
